Erin Lally

Erin Lally (BFA, MA) serves as the Co-Executive Director of the Harkness Dance Center and Director of the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at 92NY. A dedicated dance educator, leader, and community builder, Erin has spent over two decades sharing her passion for dance with children, educators, and families across public schools, studios, and community settings.
Her early work includes serving as a founding Dance Specialist at Bronx Charter School for the Arts in the South Bronx, where she developed the school’s K–5 dance curriculum. Erin also held the role of Education Director at RIOULT Dance NY, leading its DanceREACH education outreach initiative. During her time at Luna Dance & Creativity in Berkeley, CA, she served as Family Services Manager, focusing on family dance classes and working with families navigating the reunification process.
Erin has taught extensively as a teaching artist with New York City Center, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispánico, and American Repertory Ballet, and continues to lead dance education in both practice and pedagogy. She holds a BFA in Modern Dance Performance from the University of the Arts, an MA in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and certifications from the 92NY Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) and the Language of Dance (LOD).
In recognition of her leadership, Erin received the 2021 Outstanding Leadership Award from the New York State Dance Education Association. She remains an active practitioner, teaching weekly family dance classes and choreography classes, facilitating DEL professional learning, and mentoring emerging educators. Erin is deeply committed to the belief that dance fosters connection, expression, and community, and is proud to help realize 92NY DEL’s vision of Dance for Every Child.
