Karli O’Connell

Karli O’Connell is a dancer and dance educator based in New York City. She holds her Master of Arts in Dance Education from NYU Steinhardt with Pre-K-12 Initial Certification through New York State and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Wake Forest University. While in graduate school at NYU, Karli served as the Co-President of the Steinhardt Dance Education Association. She is also an active member of the National Dance Education Association (NDEO), where she serves as a committee member of the board. Karli is an adjunct faculty member for NYU Steinhardt’s Dance Education program and has worked closely with a number of public and private schools throughout the city through her work as both a Teaching Artist and Dance Coach through DEL’s Create program. Karli has performed across various venues in New York City, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Radio City Music Hall, and the Frederick Loewe Theater. Karli is also a 200-hour certified Vinyasa yoga teacher, registered through Yoga Alliance.
